Cleaning and maintaining your or your loved ones’ memorial can be critical to ensuring it continues to tell its story for generations to come. Here are some simple cleaning tips that you and/or your family can use to keep monuments looking like new:

• We recommend using a simple mixture of water and mild dish soap ONLY to clean headstones. Harsher chemicals can cause damage due to the porous nature of granite.
• Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub any debris off the stone. Stiff bristles can be abrasive on granite and could cause damage.
• A microfiber towel is recommended for wiping down and drying the stone.
• When left unattended, grass, flowers, or other greenery surrounding a monument can cause damage. We encourage seasonal maintenance when possible to avoid any issues.
