]]> WINTERSET, Iowa (September 9, 2026) — Des Moines Winterset Memorials invites the public to attend an Open House celebrating its new Winterset production facility and showroom on Friday, September 25, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at 1601 N. John Wayne Dr., Winterset, IA 50273.
The Open House will allow community members, local partners, and families to tour the new showroom and cutting-edge production facility, enjoy complimentary beverages and pastries, and learn more about the craftsmanship behind creating lasting memorials.
Prior to the Open House, Des Moines Winterset Memorials will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. in partnership with the Winterset Chamber of Commerce.
For more than 140 years, Des Moines Winterset Memorials has helped families honor loved ones through handcrafted monuments and meaningful memorial design. The new Winterset facility represents the next chapter in that legacy, allowing the company to continue combining compassionate service, skilled craftsmanship, and modern production capabilities.
During the Open House, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the monument-making process, explore the benefits of pre-planning a memorial, and see how Des Moines Winterset Memorials is taking more than 140 years of handcrafted excellence to the next level.
