Winterset Monument Company was established in 1878 by the Clark family.  Gruhn-Leander Stone Works, L.L.C. purchased Winterset Monument Company along with Des Moines-Winterset Memorials , Atlantic Memorials and Miller Brothers Memorials in Iowa City on May 1, 2008.  We are pleased to be a locally-owned family business and look to continue our close relationship with families in all of the numerous communities we are associated with.

As experienced memorialists, we provide you with knowledge, experience and dedication. We understand that creating a personal memorial may be unfamiliar, so we offer the personal service and the capabilities of Rock of Ages, America’s premier monument company.
