About Us
Atlantic Memorials was established in 1990 as a branch sales office for Des Moines-Winterset Memorials. Atlantic Memorials and Des Moines-Winterset Memorials have served the Atlantic community for more than 130 years. Gruhn-Leander Stone Works, L.L.C. purchased Atlantic Memorials along with Des Moines-Winterset Memorials, Winterset Monument Company and Miller Brothers Memorials in Iowa City on May 1, 2008. We are pleased to be a locally-owned family business and look to continue our close relationship with families in all of the numerous communities we are associated with.
As experienced memorialists, we provide you with knowledge, experience and dedication. We understand that creating a personal memorial may be unfamiliar, so we offer the personal service and the capabilities of Rock of Ages, America’s premier monument company.
